HyBlock is a carbon-negative building material manufactured using industrial hemp core-fiber and a specialty eco-cement as a binder. The industrial-hemp plant is grown without pesticides and has been used similar applications for thousands of years; our eco-binder is based on those used to build anscient projects like the great wall of China. HyBlock as a whole is completely non-toxic and bio-compatible.

Natural Hemp-Fiber Blocks

Can be drilled, sawed, nailed or screwed Channels are routered for electrical and plumbing. Thin set mortar is applied with notched trowels. Finishes can include plaster, stucco, siding or brick veneer, etc.

High Thermal-Mass Capacity

Stores energy and releases it gradually. Integrates radiant heating and cooling. Easily integrates hot water solar. Homes remain cool in summer, warm in winter.
